Dr. Laura Belmonte Receives Outstanding Graduate Honor from Arizona State University

Chicana and Chicano Studies professor Dr. Laura Belmonte was recently honored by Arizona State University for her doctorate work.  Dr. Belmonte was featured in the Outstanding Graduate Video, a highlight of the Fall 2016 Graduate Commencement Ceremony.  The video featured one student from each graduate college who were selected by faculty to be their Outstanding Graduate.  Each representative was invited to talk about their work and experience whilst at Arizona State, as well as what they hope to go on and do after they leave the University.  Check out the video and look for Dr. Belmonte here: Outstanding Graduates: Class of 2016.  Dr. Belmoted graduated in 2016 with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Spanish.
