Vivian graduated in May of 2016 from the University of New Mexico; with a BA in Psychology, along with dual minor degrees. She simultaneously took on Navajo Linguistics, studying under Paul Platero, Melvetha Chee, Esther Yazzie, & Mary Ann Willie, while also completing a minor in Chicano Studies, earlier in the fall of 2015, and walked at the El Centro DE La Raza commencement in December.  Vivian transferred to UNM from Riverside Community College, where she received a dual Certificate and Associates in Human Services. Vivian worked with her respected Mentor James Banks, as a mentor herself for the foster youth program, directed by James Banks. She was also a member of the Human Services club, participating each semester, and volunteering. She was appointed the Vice President of HMS club for a couple semesters at RCC in Moreno Valley. Vivian loves Art, enjoys Art Galleries, people watching, and helping others overcome barriers. Vivian's dreams and aspirations include being a motivational speaker, through teaching undergrads at a community college level to inspire and transfer them on to a higher education.  She also intends on working again with Mr. Banks in a partnership through Human Services.

Vivian is also the Mother of Five children and loves to hear them laugh. She believes that laughter and smiles are the best medicine that no science could ever manufacture.
