Bio


     Dr. Theresa J. Córdova, serves as a Visiting Scholar-In-Residence at the Center for Regional Studies and Adjunct Faculty Member in Chican@ Studies at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  In addition, she works as the founder and director of Las Pistoleras Instituto Cultural de Arte in El Prado, New Mexico.  

     Currently, Dr. Córdova follows her lifelong passion of cultural preservation by spearheading the Enriqueta Vásquez Digital History Project through an Andrew W. Mellon grant and Arte Público Press, University of Houston, as well as funding from Center for Regional Studies at the University of New Mexico.  The project seeks to gather and preserve her work and stories through a digital archive for sharing with the general public through the “Chicana Por Mi Raza Digital Archive“ and “US Latina/o Archive and Digital Humanities.”
