Xicanacimiento Series: Building Transfer Bridges

Are you a community college student at UNM Taos or Valencia campus?
Are you a community college student in New Mexico interested in transferring to UNM?
Are you a high school student who is thinking about attending community college?
Are you interested in learning about the field of Chicana, Chicano, and Chicanx Studies and how it can elevate your personal/collective goals and career?

Join us for our monthly encuentros being hosted by UNM's Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies. Through our Xicanacimientos Series: Building Transfer Bridges, we will discuss the importance of Chicana/o Studies, what it's like to go through the community college system, how to transfer to BA granting institutions like UNM, and the importance of community building. The students hosting the workshop are community college mentors who can meet with you to support you on your academic journey.
